The School District of Springfield Township, located within Montgomery County, serves the communities of Erdenheim, Flourtown, Oreland, and Wyndmoor, with some areas of Lafayette Hill and Glenside as well within district lines. The district currently serves a little over 2,600 students in its four schools – Enfield Elementary (grades K and 1), Erdenheim Elementary (grades 2 – 5), Springfield Middle School (grades 6 -8), and Springfield High School (grades 9 – 12).
View The Market ReportEnfield Elementary is a new building, that opened in the fall of 2020, and houses grades K, 1, and 2. The district has also undertaken extensive renovations and improvements in the high school through a major construction project over the past two years, including the addition of a new auxiliary gym, interior construction of new locker rooms, bathrooms, television studio, and fitness training facilities, two turf fields, and the addition of other new athletic fields and tennis courts.

Springfield Township is an affluent and tight-knit area. As such, the program of town events and access to the area’s country clubs seems endless. There is a high concentration of country clubs in this area, giving members access to golf courses, pools, tennis courts, and social events. Sandy Run Country Club, Flourtown Country Club, Philadelphia Cricket Club, and North Hills Country Club are all located within or on the edges of the township.
Morris Arboretum is a gorgeous natural space on the edge of Chestnut Hill. It’s a wonderful place to explore the blooms, and it plays host to various events throughout the year, including their iconic Moonlight & Roses Gala. Springfield has an incredible roster of sports leagues for all ages, as well as science camps, cooking classes, yoga classes, and many other programs and events. Every year in Cisco Park, the community holds a Summer Concert Series at the gazebo by the pond, bringing residents of all ages to picnic on the grass.
